hi again guys, well got new laser.fitted and hooked upto pc with ck3 pro and x360usb(original not pro)
pc saw drive, opened xbc and it saw drive.
Put game disc in and it saw it,said 49mb
i went into drive tools and pressed drive unlock and it said 8.14gb
clicked read and again it failed on the ap25 challenges and as such read failed

so i disconnected x360usb and went onto onboard sata
hooked up again and unlocked drive, this time i clicked security sector in drive tools on xbc, didnt think i had anything to lose
this is what came up

this app will only lose minor functionality and should be able to continue normally
Do you want to continue without the Sector Mapper?
you dont want to do that
it should not ask that

man
this is driving me nuts
im sure it driving you nuts

at this point
i would trash everything
reinstall xbc 2.5 then get the new xbc 2.9 v345

i would leve the drive hook up onboard sata

also
i would try a differnet drive benq or liteon
shit at this point i would even try a samsung
just to see what happened

try to get a dump from a game that does not have ap25 a older game.
keep us in the loop on this

I have been having issues also with the benq drive 0800 when I go to read the game in xbc it tells me the drive is not xdg3 compatable and can cause errors do you want to continue? so i just push yes comes up failed to read cannot find apt 25 xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx been at it for 3 days not ordered a new liteon drive flashed 0800 same issue this drive is not xdg3 compatable so on. I had a samsung on it just days before, backing up older games just fine. liteon is brand new I think I am going all out this weekend wiping hard drive reinstalling windows let you all know what happens after that, I can only think xbc has become corrupt some how and not reconizing the new 0800 on the drive the new 0800 shows up fine when I connect them to JF so we will see what happens.
