Controller mod walkthrus?

Does anyone know of a good walkthru for modding your controller, I'm looking for a LED walkthru for a wireless controller specifically but I could just vary the tactic with a wired walkthru, I just can't find one that shows in detail where to solder the LEDS into the power source is all
