As far as which version of Benq firmware to use, which one do you have? If there isn't one that matches yours in the retail section, get the closest above it. Always shoot for an upgrade as the 360 does not allow for downgrades. It all actuality, it isn't going to matter unless your trying to restore the drive back to stock. If your trying to flash hacked firmware, then you could get any retail firmware thats on thats listed for the benq's and it will work because the hacked firmware is all the same. If your trying to restore it to original, go for a version match or a version above what you have.
sadalius, are you sure it wont brick the dvd drive if i get the wrong/different firmware from that site?

Thanks

Nope, won't brick it. It might give you E65 on the 360 itself, but this is not bricked because simply flashing the correct firmware will fix it. Bricked is just that. Totally un-fixable.

So if i do get E65, i can just dump it and fben to get hacked firmware, correct (sameway as flashing/dumping STOCK original FW)?

That should work fine. The hacked firmware is all the same revision. The only thing iprep does is run samtool which copies the key over. In all reality, the retail firmware from that site+drive key from the drive should work fine as well.

What revision of benq are you working with BTW?

Does this drive that your working with not have ANY firmware on it or something? Again, what revision is it? Its on the label of the drive or should be.

Chances are they are the same version. The 64930C firmware is on the team-modfreakz.com website. Use that one. It will work for sure.
