Re: help xbox 360 3 leds flashing
get the error code.
turn the console on.
hold the snk button.
press the eject button. it will show you the first number press the snk button again for the 2 and so on.
all 4 lights is "0"
if its a 0102 error you have the RROD that the 360 is known to get.

Follow what cofree said in his post and tell us what error code it has and then we can tell you if its fixable or not. It may just be bad a/v cables or something simple. Let us know.

Re: help xbox 360 3 leds flashing
I would assume you would need to do an x-clamp to fix this... With it being a sammy, it must have been an older one (I haven't seen one in a while).

And if at first you don't succeed..? Order the damn card!

Mirc is a place to chat, post up on the site for help!!!

Re: help xbox 360 3 leds flashing
the sync button is the small button that you use to sync up a new wireless controller.sorry for the confusion.
it sound like you are about to get the dreaded RROD that the 360 is known for.
you are describing the things that happen before it dies completely.

Re: help xbox 360 3 leds flashing
The X-clamp is a common fix error codes 102 and 110, in other words the RRoD. It involves drilling holes into the "x-clamps" and using bolts and washers to make sure the graphics chip and CPU are connected firmly to the motherboard. The Graphics chip and CPU coming loose from the motherboard is one of the main causes of the three red lights. Read more here:

Re: help xbox 360 3 leds flashing
Get the code as described to you and tell us what it is. It may be something as simple as bad audio/video cables. Take it to a buddies house and plug it into his cables. If you still get the red ring then you can panic.abj1505 wrote:now the xbox 360 works but nothink on the screen.

no the probelm is not with the cable because the same cable work with anathor one.
but when i press on the motherboard the picture played and the 3 leds don't flashing.
maybee the problem it is with the x clamp but what i replace exactly.
think you for help.

Re: help xbox 360 3 leds flashing
if you press on the mobo and the things starts working then there is a good chance its the xvlap.
if it has been xclamped before it may just need a touch-up.
if it has not then the xclamp fix stands a good chance of fixing it.
here is the xclamp guid.
