Backing up a backup game

Post by Freebeer187 »

I was wondering because i do not have enough hd space for all my backed up 360 games, i wanted to know if i have a already backed up game, could i make a copy of it just by selecting "disc copy" or making a image of it on my pc. I know the layer break has to be set also. Also i do not have a special drive (pioneer) for making backups. Thanks!

I'm sorry I didn't understand the question. Are you asking if you can make a copy of a DL backup that you have to another DL disk? If that's what you are asking then yes, I have made them with, I believe it was, cloneCD. I would imagine you can make an exact duplicate with Nero also, though I've never tried.

The other drive is used for dumping your original to you computer. That is all it is for.

Well guys this one goes to far into the darkness.

The fair use clauses in Section 117 of the U.S. Copyright Act of 1976 allow us to make one backup of any sotfware we own for archiving purposes.

One original, one backup .. no more. If the original is damaged, keep the disc or pieces as proof and play your backup. You lose/throw out the original, by law you must toss out your backup as well.

So, for those looking for information on how to backup a backup, you won't find help here. Rip your original disc again if your first backup didn't work. And if you don't have the original disc anymore, then you shouldn't have the backup either.

Sorry, we all have to go by the rules. Please no more discussion on backing up a backup.

It can be done but you just don't need to talk about it .
