saving ps3 games on hdd

i been reading and there been talk that u can put the image of a ps3 game on to the hdd of the ps3 wit a usb flash drive...any body ever heard of this befor....and has it worked? u dl from a certain site and save image to pc then transfer to usb drive then insert usb in ps3 then copy to hdd....

ive heard they are working on playing from a backup and from the hard drive.
i have not read that it is in the wild.
for that mater i dont even know if its for real.

i've seen some lame/fake guys trying to say they booted some games by switching out hd's and stuff.

most of it is crap though, and worthless,


right now there still really isn't anything in the ps3 scene, i hope someday.
