Soldering a 12v current to the fan

Post by Freebeer187 »

I wanted to know if it was harmfull to conncet one of the fans to a 12v spot on your board.
I was planning on adding a wire to this spot:

So one of the fans would run allot faster. Does this cause any harm to the system?

there are people that do the 12v mod.i have never done it.
i dont think that is where they get the 12v from.ill do some looking around.

i put this in every 360 i take apart. It does work and it looks cool.it will keep it 10-15 deg cooler
