Repair Xbox 360

I was just wondering would microsoft repair my 360 if I sent it to them, the problem being a bad flash by myself and I lost the original firmware, the warranty has been out for over a year so I know I will have to pay anyway?

I've sent a couple back without a sticker and flashed, and they've come back. I've even seen one sent back with a backup inside it. It came back repaired, with the backup taped to the side of the machine . It's worth a try, I think the worst that could happen is that they don't repair it, and you have to pay for postage back to you (that's the worst I've heard anyway).

give them a ring and see what they say, if the price is high to fix them better option is to get a new one as they are quite cheap now. this is only if you dont intend to flash it and play backups or just pick 1 up from ebay.

thanks parminder and lilrevuk i will try that now, I dont really want another xbox its just a shame to see it there lying in the corner like a brick. To lilrevuk did you have to ring them up or did you use the online repair site they have now if you rang them what did you say?

but
i would just say you picked it up on ebay broke,and was wondering if you could send it in to get it fixed.
that you know there is a fee ,but you dont mind paying a fee.
you see where im going with this right.

ya would that be a good thing to say as i was just goin to tell them the problem ie. that the power symbol continuosly flashes and the tray won't open?

i dont think they will give a crap,but i dont know.
if you are paying for the repair i dont think they will care.

i'd say your lucky lol. or maybe they just don't care much.
