Hi guys
I have recently purchased a new Xbox 360 and flashed the firmware. I have an old Xbox 360 that I have not modded also. Basically, when trying to use the same hard drive between the two, my modded Xbox 360 works, however when using my untouched Xbox 360 the gamer profile always becomes corrupt.
None of the saved games are a problem, and if I delete the profile and download it again from Microsoft all is well, until I try swapping it again.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance

hmmm
the first thing i would think is you have a HD that is going bad.
does it corrupt going both ways.
try it on a different 360 a friends or something like that.
i have many 360 and move my HD from one to the other all the time with not trouble.

Re: Swapping Hard Drive Corrupt's Profile
Sorry for the delay guys
Basically, when I transfer the hard drive to the flashed Xbox 360 it works fine, however, when taking it from the flashed xbox 360 to the unflashed 360 it says Corrupt profile. Really frustrating....
Don't understand how it can be a bad hard drive if it works one way and not the other. Is there anyway you can format a hard drive from the 360 interface?

Re: Swapping Hard Drive Corrupt's Profile
I've swapped my HD to different systems both modded & unmodded without any problem many times - can't see this being the root cause of the problem.
Are you hot swapping??
You can indeed format the hard drive // instructions here >> hxxp://support.microsoft.com/kb/906502" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
**WARNING** U will lose your saves

Re: Swapping Hard Drive Corrupt's Profile
Hi guys
After giving up for a while, I was wondering if anyone else had stumbled across a solution yet? Basically, the format didn't work. I have tried using a hard drive and a memory card, and every time I switch between the two Xbox 360s it corrupts the profile again.
Any more suggestions?
Thanks
