Rock Band developer Harmonix said Wednesday that it would be releasing 20 new downloadable songs on November 4 for free.
Artists include a range of up-and-comers including The 88, Dealership, Kutless and Semi-Precious Weapons.
The catch is that they'll only be available for Rock Band 2 owners.
The tracks will be downloadable by using the DLC redemption code in Rock Band 2's retail packaging.
According to Harmonix, Rock Band's online music store has exceeded 25 million paid downloads.
Rock band 2 shipped with over 80 on-disc tunes.
