'well
i think you can get your key from the mobo and do the timing attack,but its by no means for the beginner.
also i know there is a problem with doing the attack on console with to new of a kernel.'
In relation to a console with to new of a kernel I should be good as its one of the older models mfr date:2006-06-09, but what i would like to know is what would this procedure involve doing if theres any soldering i can do it or most other things to do with electricals. Is there any guides i wonder?

that is not right man.
unless you have done no updates.
the kernel is updated when you take a M$ update.
my guess would be you have a kernel that is to new to do the timing attack on.

I dont know about that.
you can have a look at there home page for support.
http://infectus.biz/index.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
ive never messed with it.I dont have a 360 that i want to take the chance of messing up right now.
I have never come across a guide that is strait froward in the procedure.

oh sorry for my ignorance didnt really know what that was, that means I wouldn't be so good on that front as ive taken the newest update on it only a few days ago, ill have a look on their website but it looks fairly bleak on this one. Looks as if ill just have to buy a new one or send one of these two broken ones away for repair.
thx anyway
