PdaNet 1.50+ ($29.99) is a native application which now offers tethering of your 3g data connection to your pc over...wait for it...USB...BOOM! Truth be told as I learned more about tethering, the appeal of doing so was lost on me. But, I may give this a whirl. In the past you had to set it up via ad-hoc which was dumb. I dunno how this is going to work in light of at&t's announcement of their own plan, but it's the first USB tethering solution I know of.
