Hi Guys
This is my first post in the forum and hopefully someone will know something about this E73 error which doesn't really seem to be too well documented.
I have a later 360 with a BenQ drive and HDMI that has an E73 error which opinion seems to point to a problem with the Ethernet port.
I have opened the console as it's a second hand one that I bought off Ebay to flash and once ownership of the console changes from the original owner MS no longer honour any warranty (surprise surprise).
I have checked all previous posts and can't find anything in relation to this error except a post that contained some information on heating the motherboard with a heatgun for an E74 error which also listed E73 in the errors that this method can possibly fix.
Does anybody have and more information about this error and other possible ideas on a fix or is the reflowing method the only way?
Thanks guys

Re: Require help with E73 Error
E73: General Hardware Error: Ethernet port... this error is caused by a problem with the Ethernet port. i dont think theres much you can do other than getting it fixed by microsoft. wait and see what others have to say.
Re: Require help with E73 Error
From what I've read the only way to fix this is to heatgun, or a proper reflow (which costs as much as a new console if you can find anyone to do it you)...
Shitty made things, these 360's are

Hi Guys
Thanks for that.
I decided to send it bak to MS as it's quite new and then I might flash it and hang onto it.
Cheers
