Hey guys,
just a quick question. I ordered CK 3 PRO with Probe, do i still need that famous VIA 6421 card? since i'll be plugging CK3 in a USB anyway?
thanks in advance.

hi..yes ....at what point in the iprep video do i insert the probe into the small hole before 707 ?......is it before i press "enter" when typing in the dump command in iprep ?.....how long do i hold the probe in there ?.....sorry to ask, but this was not covered in the tut.....regards

well
ive not messed with mine yet.
i would say
type dlit 1234567 12345 (your ser)
then put on the probe then hit enter and leave the probe in till all the dumping is done.

Re: Flashing Lite-on dvd drive with iprep v008.6
it will not hurt anything to try and dump.
if its not right it just will not work.
after i was booted in dos on the flash i would put on the probe then do ever thing with the other hand
i guess that is going to be some what of a pain.

hi cofree...jus want to get something cleared up...you say put the probe in....and press "enter"..........now the next part of the tut requires that you open the tray half way etc...........now do i keep the probe still in r707 point or can i remove it ?..........im thinking i keep it in all the time whilst doing the half tray open part..up.until the key has been dumped and fimtool has started, i can then remove the probe from the r707 point ?....is that correct...CoFree wrote:well

Re: Flashing Lite-on dvd drive with iprep v008.6
that is right
you dont have to put the probe in till after you open the drive then close it half way.
turn on the drive power put the probe in.
then start with the probe staying in till you have all the files you need.

hi when dumping the keys a few times to the root of your usb stick just to make sure that they are the same each time....wont they get replaced each time because you have already dumped the keys there,.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,or do you dump the keys...boot into windows...goto the root of your usb stick.........and move the keys somewhere else .....do this about three times......then compare the two or three dumps you made of the keys..?????...ta

Re: Flashing Lite-on dvd drive with iprep v008.6
If you didn't copy them somewhere before re-dumping the information, they would get over written. What I generally do is rename them to something different that way they won't get over written and I can tell from which dump the files came from.
You can use any serial that you want to, but I generally try and stay with the actuall serial number so I can tell what 360 it came from. If your only doing your own, then it won't really matter, you could use 1234567 and 12345 or your realy serial number.

Re: Flashing Lite-on dvd drive with iprep v008.6
so basically if dump the files about 3 times with 3 different names , say liteon1, liteon2 and liteon3....i will have 3 files with these names in the root of the usb stick?....also after each dump...do i have to go through the whole process again of dumping the files each time?........tasadalius wrote:If you didn't copy them somewhere before re-dumping the information, they would get over written.
