Question about stealth check
Question about stealth check
I recently got banned from xbox live and Im getting ready to check all my backups with the programs listed in the tutorial section. All my backups were burned from original copies using XBC. I've heard of people having bad sectors even burning 100% originals, so Im sure some of mine are bad. My question is what to do once I have found a game to fail some of the checks? I know you can patch it with the mulleter program, but I have heard this is a bad idea. Should I just rip the original again and check it before I burn? Thanks for all your help.
Re: Question about stealth check
that is exactly what i would do.
if they are bad trash them.dump again.
they found alot of bad ss files on the mulleter server that had to be fixed

Re: Question about stealth check
Well I checked all my backups with XBC and the kreon checker. All passed the XBC stealth check, but Halo 3 had a bad Kreon rip. I ripped all the games with XBC 2.5. I upgraded to version 2.7, ripped the original Halo 3 again and it checked out ok. I don't know if it was the new version of XBC that did it or what. I guess Im wondering if it is possible to have a bad Kreon rip and do it again with the same game and get a good one. I should have tested that out with version 2.5. Oh well, guess I'll have to get a new xbox with a Benq
.

Re: Question about stealth check
that is right.
The latest thing im reading is that 5 out of 1000 dumps with a sh-d162c will have a bad ss dump.
all yo9u have to do is trash the bad dump and do it again. It should be good the next time.
it should not matter that it was xbc v2.5
