For those of us that are able to use jungleflasher, you might have noticed some peculiar characters in the status window when either reading a firmware or writing a firmware. Those little x's and y's that occasionally show up. You may be wondering what those are. It doesn't happen with lite-ons so much, but particularly Samsung drives. Those little characters represent a read or write fail and a re-attempt. The x is a fail and the y is a reattempt. They aren't anything to really worry about unless you get a message saying that a bank failed to write. As long as there are 16 of the little ....'s on each line for each bank, your OK. If for some reason it does fail, then you can use dosflash to finish flashing the drive like for the lite-ons.
This happens (read/write errors) with other flashing programs like dosflash and mtkflash, you just don't see them unless it just flat out fails.
Just thought I'd pass that along.

Yep this happpened to me this past weekend on a ms28. Had one little x but no little y
Was a little worried because i only have the 150w power bricks and can't test the older 360s. Never received a complaint so guess it all was well. Thanks for clearing that up
