Most people on here don't fool with wxripper since the advent of the freon drive anyway. But you should be able to. I've not messes much with wxripper myself, so I can't remember for sure. I'd say try it and see how it goes. Wouldn't hurt anything.

nope that's the worst method i never had a laptop so i dunno for sure.

but i believe even on a laptop (is there any sata ports on it ? or even ide.) you can hook up a kreon drive or a 360 sammy/benq with 0800 fw to rip games much more efficiently.

if you are using a laptop to make your burns the best way is with a encloser
like this one.its for a ide drive but you can getone for a sata drive to.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6817801023" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

you would put your kreon flash dvd drive in that and hook it by usb up to your laptop.
and off to races you go.
i have done many backups this way. ;)

The answer is no. You will have to put the dvd in everytime to get the magic number. I have tried loading the same layout when doing another dump but it was bad. Not until i did the process all the way from the beginning did it work.
