Hello all, Im new on here,
I assumed I had the right sata chipset as I must of been looking in wrong place, Is this the right place in device manager, SCSI and RAID controllers, Mine is AV40POCD, Does anyone know if I can use this coz ive just loaded up iprep and this is the device its assigning.
Further up the device manager where I originally thought sata was is IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers and in this drop down is NVIDIA MPC61 serial ATA controller, Can anyone please help me im thinking of flashing my BenQ drive, If the latter is the Sata card then why is Iprep loading the above by default. or dont I have the right card and need to buy one.
Thanks for any help !

it is the chipset is what you have to go by
a via6421a or L chipset works good for the samsung and benq
the lite-on can be done with most chipsets.
this is a card that is know to work.
