Hitachi 79FL does not want to go to modeb no matter what!

Post by moo123 »

i have done Hitachi 79FL's b4 with no problem but i have come across one that just doesn't want to get into modeB and i have a 78FK that I'm able to get in modeB tested it to see if it was my VIA VT6421A but its not 78FK went in to modeB no problem gave me the spinning disk pressed eject and modeB but when trying this 79FL i don't get spinning up disk nor modeB

there has to be something up with this drive i have done many 79FL's before with ease

i appreciate your time to help me out on this issue. :D

I just flashed a Hitachi 79FL but from another xbox with no problem I'm convinced its the drive now because everything went smooth

i wonder whats wrong with it?! It reads original games with no problem and the xbox turns on but does not want to go into modeB with slax...

very very weird...

i would try getting it in modeb with something like the new
Maximus 360 Xtractor Reader v2.8
it is said to put a v78 or v79 in modeB with out slax.
you can find it here.
