Rapture's Big Daddies just got a little competition.

March 10, 2009 - Recently, we've been tracking the teaser website updates for BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams, which have been alluding to kidnappings of small girls from around the world, as well as mysterious lights in the sea and strange footprints in sand. However, some of the mystery surrounding the game was slowly revealed today, as Game Informer revealed the existence of the Big Sister on the cover of their April Issue. Slimmer and probably faster than the lumbering Big Daddies, the Big Sisters still appear to have some kind of human shape with a mechanical exoskeleton surrounding them. This suit doesn't seem to have a large drill as a weapon; instead, a pole or potentially a speargun seems to extend from the gauntlet of the left arm of the Big Sister. Curiously, it also appears to be carrying a Little Sister not on its shoulder but in some kind of basket.
