There are several versions of the hacked firmware. SH-D162C, SH-D162D, SH-163A, and SH-163B, these are the most common. I would say just verify that you've matched the FW to your specific drive and retry. And I've heard that on some of the drives you have to flash to an older Samsung fw first. And I would make sure that you get it from Xbins as well, there's few other places that are as trustworthy.

run the flasher in nocheck mode. Make sure your 163b is selected as the target though, don't want to flash the wrong drive. To get no check mode, open a command prompt at the folder where the flash program is, and type in "sfdnwin.exe -nocheck" without the quotes and you should get a dialog box stating something about nocheck. Then click ok, then load your 163b kreon firmware and flash the 163b.
