Need Help! I think i fried my Lite On!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Look, i tried and it isnt working, i made the cfw file and then i put it in the usb put it doesnt work. I think my drive is really fried. The jungler flasher even started to freeze my Pc.

An advice to everyone that wants to flash there 360, use iprep please, junglerflasher is a mess, iprep is safer and more straight forward.

you should try this before you give up on the drive. if it doesn't work then you definitely know the drive is fried, but it wouldn't hurt to try. . .

My drive is dead, it doesnt open and the jungerflasher cant detect it in the sata port. In Iprep 8.8 i tried to write it, i first created a CFW file in jungerflasher with the liteon ix firmware 1.51 and it didnt work, the iprep says CFW file is not founded in ****** *****. Then i try to use the the 1.5 liteon ix firmware because there are some people having problems with the 1.51, but it says the same. And i know im doing everything as it should be, the problem is the drive that is dead. Im going to buy a Samsung MS28 in ebay.

THE DRIVE WILL NOT SHOW UP IN WINDOWS BECAUSE IT HAS FROZE OR IT IS DEAD, IT WONT EJECT OR ANYTHING SO YOU MIGHT THINK ITS DEAD BUT IT MIGHT NOT BE. TRY THE IPREP RECOVERY METHOD BEFORE YOU WASTE YOUR MONEY, DONT TRY FLASHING WITH IPREP AS NORMAL, USE COFREES METHOD TO RECOVER THE DRIVE, IF IT DOESNT WORK then good luck with the new drive

Socalboii, Cofree, Iamwatt THANKS!!!!! It wasn't dead, i follow Cofree's video step by step and is alive and flashed. Finally im going to play GTA4 wich mines freezes, now i can make a backup of the game and play it freely.

A last question what is the diference between ix 1.5 and 1.51? they can catch me if i have 1.5?

ix1.51 supports games with the new 3rd wave in them (Hawx and MBL 2k9 with more expected in the future) If you have 1.5 ixtreme it won't boot a backup of these games. Technically no-one is 100 percent safe from being banned but the safest possible way is to only play games which you have backed up yourself and avoid iso's at all costs. Good job on the fix.

8$ soldering gun, 7$(resistors, transistors, serial, solder) from Radioshack
20$ in a Via 6421a Sata Card
Experience in soldering, electronics or flashing: none experience needed

I told you liteons are definately the best drive and easiest for me to flash ive had no problem with them before. Anyways good job.
