Lite On and CK3 Pro going nuts

Alright, so here i am trying to flash my first lite on. I have CK3 Pro. Via Sata 6421. CK3 tool. All drivers installed (USB, ioport32. framework 2 for XP-32 and framework 3.5 for vista 32). Anyway, installed the CK3 in all possible combinations: ck3 turned off and then the drivers; drivers first then ck3, you name it. I'm trying with the USb cable. The problem is that every time i run CK3 tool and hit "find usb ports" CK3 returns message saying "USB not found". Further port query is pointless even though i've tried. Bottom line my drive is not being detected in windows. I've tried CK3 tool with tray half open and no luck, with the tray closed and always the same result. I've installed, uninstalled, and reinstalled the drivers and repeat everything and no luck. I also made system restore and then reinstall everything with no luck. This happens in both Vista and XP. Obviously every time i try to dump the key it returns invalid key.
The weird thing is that when i use DVDkey32 in jungleflasher it shows the Lite On information under my 6421, but when I dump the key it aborts.

I'm thinking my CK3 is garbage and those guys at modchip.ca ripped me off, however I've used it in Benqs, Sammys and Hits without issues. Stupidly, I ordered a probe to see if it makes any difference. My point is that the Lite on should be detected in windows, am i right?

So i don't know what could be wrong. My PC has various USB ports, and it doesn't really seem to matter which one I use, the result is always the same. I also tried iPrep with 9-pin cable and failed miserably...iprep aborted right away!.

Well guys, if you have any ideas or perhaps a checklist to go through I'll appreciate the insight.

Well, when I meant drivers I meant "CK3_PRO_USB_DRIVER" which I DL from teamxecuter website. I don't know if the "4" would make any difference. However this driver is advertised as XP-compatible. Well, actually I tried with the drivers built-in CK3 tool v.1.2.4 with no luck. Then i tried with the CK3_PRO_USB_DRIVER with no luck either. Then i tried in Vista with the vista drivers of course with no luck.
