REPLACING A Faulty TS-H943

Hi Guys

Can any of you experts help me at all i have one faulty console it has a samsung TS-H943 drive in it its faulty well the mechanics are faulty but the drive can still be read i asume, i have a benq drive ready to put in console but unsure how to change serial numbers etc the drive key thing can anyone help me do this as im quite new to doing this kind of repair, any help would be really good thanks in advance and kindest regards Stuzza
