Iprep ERROR Message (Help Needed Pls)

Post by 9thwonda »

Cofree (or anyone) : "Exception Processing Message 0xc00000a3 Parameters 0x75E492A0 0x00000004 0x75E492A0 0x75E492A0"

I get this error when attempting to make the usb drive bootable thru iprep 8.8.

Operating system is Vista fyi.

How do I fix this problem? It still allows me to boot from the flash drive...but with this error I wont even try.

sorry man
here you go

Exception Processing Message :
Disable the floppy in your bios.
Most people get that error because their computer does not have a floppy drive, but it is still on in the bios.Go in to your bios and disable it.

Fyi: I've noticed that after I get that message, if I hit "try again" it goes thru without giving the error again. Always on the second time. If I do it now it will give me the error....I hit "try again" it will go thru, should I be worried? I don't want to proceed until I know it's writing properly.

you need to get that running without giving you a error

if in vista right click on iprep and run as admin
see if that takes care of it.

That doesn't work. Tried that before I made this thread. Am I the first to have this problem? Once again, it DOES show up normally in when I boot from usb...everything appears normal. This is what it says:

Preparing Destination
Making Drive E:\ Bootable (Error happens first time here)
Copying BenQ Firmware to E:\
Copying Generic Tools to E:\
Creating Batch Files on E:\
Creating BACKUPS directory
All Done!

Fyi, my drive is not hooked up at this time..please confirm that it is not supposed to be.

Also, since im still kinda at a stand still....another question:

I have a VIA sata card. I've read some talk about disabling a certain part of the driver. When I installed the PCI card vista automatically installed the driver for me. Should I be worried about that? The disk that came with my PCI card was actually ruined lol. Again I appreciate your help.

if you are using iprep then you should use the via drive

well it wont hurt anything to try and get a dump of the drive
if it will build a boot flash
just try a dump and see if you can see the dvd drive and if you can get a dump

what drive are you trying to flash

It's a benq. I figured it wouldn't hurt to at least try that step. Cool, I'll give it a shot when I get some more free time. Im more worried about the flash tho ya know.

Ok, got thru the whole first part (dumping) including saving a copy of my backups folder. Do you suggest that I start to flash? Also, while dumping the ofw, I noticed that it didn't ask me to do the "open drive/shut drive" method. Is that strange? The key still showed up when firmtool opened...
