Booting Slax....

I have a couple of questions about Slax....

Can ayone get it to work off a USB flash? Just been trying for a while with no joy...

Here's the problem, my brothers PC has a VIA chipset which I know works, but it does not have a working DVD-ROM

mind you, my Kreon drive is external (I'll try that first)????

I've never tried to put it onto a USB flash. I've always just burned it to a CD. Any old cd reader drive should be able to boot it though if you burn it to a CD. It doesn't have to be a DVD drive, although you can use a dvd drive, or a burner for that matter. But if your BIOS supports booting from USB, you should be able to use your sh-d162c like you were talking about.

sorted, kreon drive worked fine....

and no, slax doesn't boot from USB (although I'm sure someone who knows what they're doing with linux could sort that).

IeXtreme 1.4 works fine on 78/79, did a 78 with it today...

I try and keep up to date with what's happening in the 360 world, and to be honest since I've found this site, I haven't got off it!

LOL, I know what you mean. There are only a scant few sites that I frequent, this one being the most prominent. The other ones are just for keeping up with the latest greatest behind the scene, well, scene stuff
