so weird for liteon drive

i flashed a lot of liteon drive before, every one is worked fine. but today i cannot dump the key out when i put the probe to R707.....is it my chipset burned?

please provide flashing parameters and I assume you tried it multiple times in entirety re-ejecting, re-turning off, re-sliding in of the tray. hit us back...interested in this question for sure

i tried like this
1,turn on the drive and half tray
2,i open JF1.055
3, then i pointed my probe to R707 and get my key!

I have had one (two if you count the probe i fried) probe go bad, can you solder? if so solder the points and dump it that way. if not hit me back

Have you tried the drive back in the 360 to make sure that it still plays games? if it does and you can't solder and don't fancy bridging the 707 points you could also make a diy probe to rule out a dodgey probe. Or use iprep to dump it, jungle to check the key and then iprep again to finish the flash (must be with a probe and not soldered).

i just recently had the same prob with 2 liteons the first one after trying it multiple times with JF 1.55B and kept getting that error message so i used an old version of JF it was JF .43 and flashed it just fine... now the second one i did i dint even try JF 1.55B just used JF .43 and it went threw just fine till i hit erase liteon it locked up on me but i just used the dosflash to finish the flash...so basiclly what im saying is try using JF .43 and if it locks up use dosflash...hope this helps good luck

i tried to use 1.055 and 1.051, i have no idea is it the probe problem or the program?? but few days ago, i flashed my friend's liteon and it's work prefectly....

When your getting serial key is bad, most of the time if you try to dump the drive several times, you will usually get it to work. If not, I always just use .43 to get it to create a dummy.bin and then use 1.55 to manually put the serial data in the dummy.bin. There is a tutorial on this in the members submitted tutorials section.

with .43 you should still be able to get JF to get the key.bin, inquiry.bin and indentify.bin to make the dummy.bin file. You may have to use iprep or the xbxo 360 modification disk if you can't get it any other way.

i can't when i open half tray, and try to dump my key by using Probe~~it show serial key is bad.......i doubt my probe/ chipset either one was broken....and i try two liteon drive.... that has the same problem

oh. sorry man. For some reason I was thinking it was harping about the serial data. It's saying that it can't get the key. Make sure that your on the right com port. For some reason it's not getting communication over the serial port, which with this device should be a virtual serial port through the USB port.

but i found the USB serial port!!!! that is weird... and i finished flash few day ago, and it still work great
