Information pertaining to flashing Xbox 360 Sammy drives

Those of you that are familiar with the method to flash Benq drives will be happy to know that dosflash works just as good on the samsung drives as it does with Benq. Basically, it's the same procedure. Boot to dos, connect the drive, run the dosflash read command, turn drive off and wait 5 seconds and then turn it back on. It should start reading immediately. Same for erasing and write , just use the appropriate erase and write commands.I created three batch files with the commands. One called read, one called erase and the third called write. This is just to keep me from typing the commands out wrong each and every time. You might even name them 1,2 and 3 to keep things really simple.

Just one thing, after you've read your original firmware out, please, for the sake of your sanity, take the extra step and check the original with the latest version of x360 firmware toolbox to make sure that you have a valid dump. Flashing a hacked firmware with a dvd key of all 7's or 0's will result in the loss of your 360's abilities to play games.
