Xbox DVD ROM Drive (Samsung) SDG-605

Hi all i have an old xbox and was just wondering if the drive "Xbox DVD ROM Drive (Samsung) SDG-605" can be flashed and used to create backups of xbox360 games.
Proberbly not but i thought i would ask just to see if i can use it or bin it.

Unfortunately not. It has entirely different hardware so there isn't an available firmware to flash it with to give it the capability.

if its xbox 1, softmod it with a auto installer and their you go free ease flash
