When you clicked lite-on erase did you power on the drive, eject, close half-way (or a little more than half way) and power the drive back on, all before you clicked lite-on erase?

No i clicked lite-on erase then power on then off JF then froze. i un plugged sata then after a minute comp un froze.

I tryed to use the ck3 to open and close it never responded so this is what i done]

And it flashed fine without any problems.

I have copied this from some 1 else tutorial !!!!!!

Making your new firmware.
open jungle flasher and.

1. select load source firmware
2. yes to load ixtreme
3. click manual spoofing
4. click load key.bin (select your key.bin)
5. click load inquiry.bin (select your inquiry.bin)
6. click ok
7. click save to file
8. save as litcfw.bin

Now save this to iprep usb drive folder Backup\1234567\12345
you may need to make the folder 1234567 and then inside that folder create the folder 12345 save the litcfw.bin in there.

opening tray follow pic below then.....
Once you can open the tray pull the tray out fully and push half way back in. Now, hook it up to the PC using
Connectivity Kit and Sata, power on and flash your new firmware.

Flashing your liteon in iprep.
Start iprep and do the following:

1. flit 1234567 12345
2. follow instructions (power cycle drive etc)
3. select W to write firmware
4. type when asked litcfw.bin
Thats it youre flashed.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Currently our fix for keeping Jungle Flasher from freezing is to disable the VIA sata raid card drivers. Essentially the PortIO32 drivers from Team Jungle are supposed to use the sata card to interact with your drive.

If i disable the drivers would the comp still find the drive thats connected thru sata?? Im using a PCI SATA 6421 card and the only thing that i put on that card is the xbox drive when flashing it.

the main problem i get when usin JF is i cant get the drive to erase cus when i power the drive on then off it comes back with invalid status then freeze

if i need to disable driver . how would i do ?

JF will still find the drive if you disable the VIA drivers, but you have to install PortIO32 drivers which come with the Jungle Flasher 0.1.55b rar file. Also in Vista you will need to install them manually. There's a good readme file in that rar as well for doing so. To disable the drivers, go to C:\Windows\System 32\Drivers\viamraid.sys and rename to viamraid.bak, restart your pc and voila you're done.

I installed the PortI032 driver already. i will remember that for next time i managed to write to the drive in the end using i prep. For some reason JF froze up and when i took out the sata cable it un froze but then my drive wouldnt do anything at all not even eject so i opend it manualy and then i booted off usb using IPREP
all i did was this

flit 1234567 12345

and then wrote the firmware which i created in JF. i powerd down computer drive responded and closed so i put it in 360 and it works perfect. Nothing ever is straight forward for me lol

Good job, at least you finally got it. Jungle Flasher will almost always freeze with the VIA drivers enabled.
