benQ and via 6421 0xFF error

I'm not sure why Vista would report the ports wrong, but obviously it is for some. I would have to do some research on that. But if you have vista installed and are having troubles similar to this, try manually calculating your port and change it appropriately. Another work around would be to install Microsoft virtual machine or VMWare and install xp as a virtual machine and run iprep through that. VMWare should be available as a downloadable demo and I think MVM is too, and once you get your boot media built correctly, you shouldn't need it anymore.
