Re: iXtreme 1.6 Released?! "no not yet"

Re: iXtreme 1.6 Released?! "no not yet"
All versions are now on Xbins. The repack is the "fixed" lite-on 1.6, use at your own risk.

Re: iXtreme 1.6 Released?! "no not yet"
sorry for dumb question but wats the activate.iso file for in benq 1.6? ... don't get me wrong i get wat it says its just don't remember seeing that separate file on older versions?
Re: iXtreme 1.6 Released?! "no not yet"
activate.iso, when burned to a disk and placed in the drive when it's initialized will place the drive in 0800 mode. You should only do this while the drive is connected to a PC. It's used to put the drive in a mode to where it can be use to make backups like an SH-D162 drive.

Re: iXtreme 1.6 Released?! "no not yet"
thanks for the answer mate appreciated!
Re: iXtreme 1.6 Released?! "no not yet"
It's also used for the one-shot boot mode for non-stealth games. The activate.iso disc will tell the firmware to load the following disc without any checks.

Re: iXtreme 1.6 Released?! "no not yet"
There doesn't seem to be an ixDef for the 1.6 FW; do we use the 1.51 ixDef?

Re: iXtreme 1.6 Released?! "no not yet"
Thanks CoFree...appreciate that, got it just in time as I was about to "try" to flash my 2nd BenQ.
I'm having some big troubles with my flashing...I'll post in my other thread.
