Dos Flash 16

Hi,

Im going to be flashing a Benq in the next few days. I have located the video tutorial from here and get the bits from Xbins. But the only problem was finding Dos flash 16.I found the newer version, but could not find the 16.

I have wanted to use version 16 as this was reccomeded in the tutorial.

Does anyone have a link to this. I have also tried Xbins but has given me verions of:

v1.1 beta
v1.2 beta
v1.3 beta
v1.4 beta

Am i being a complete noob and missing it?

well if you are doing a benq then i would tell you to use ipep101 v006

I had already watched another vid tutorial which mentioned about Dos flash.

I have watched the video that you posted to.

So am i correct that I dont need to use dos flash?

I have already downaloded the iprep v006. and the defbenq.

well flashing it with dos flash is the old way of doing it.
i would use iprep101 v006

Aah thats cool then, I wasnt sure that Iprep was the new dos flash.

I have used iprep on my ms28. So i am familuar with this ( even tho was a slightly older version)

iprep uses dosflash, it's just an collection of scripts to make an interface that makes it easier to deal with. However, if you still want to use dosflash, xbins has all versions to date available, I just checked. I do recommend using iprep though.

Nah i think that will use iprep. Didnt really know that dos flash was in iprep. As i say i have only flashed a ms28 before.

I think i was just getting confused as a video tutorial that had downlaoded was mentiong dos flash 16, and not to use the 32 as was unstable.

Didnt relise that it has now all gone through iprep. SO i have already watched the video tutorial that corfree had posted too. And will hopefully flash it over this weekend. (gotta wait till my brother brings it round)
