dos folder in usb

hi guys iv been reading up but iv just had chance to see the new vids for rhpg iprep( KIDS GONE OUT ) , NICE WORK but i see that its almost done for you excelent but no mention of dos folder ?.
well do i still need to put the "dos" folder into my usb stick ??? as thats what i was about to do - untill i watched them vids PHEW but theres no mention of that part.
also do i still need to use the via workaround or are the drivers ok to use together now ?
its already flashed do i need to use the probe again ?
just need that clearing up and im good to go

Dos folder? Do you mean the backup one? If so iprep creates it for you when you dump the drive. (it'll be BACKUPS then another folder called 1234567 inside it then a one inside that called 12345 or whatever you type in for your serial.) The Via fix is only for Jungleflasher and if you don't want to redump the Liteon with a probe/solder/bridge but you have a valid dump and prefer to use iprep for the flashing you can make your firmware with Jungle, save the file as Litcfw.bin and create a folder on your iprep stick with the same 3 folders in (BACKUPS/1234567/12345) then copy the Litcfw.bin you have created in the 12345 folder and go straight to the Flit 1234567 12345 command.

do u know dalecheesy i think im a bit lost at the mo its been an epic bad few weeks and i just cant seem to get my head together and the boxs are piling up.
i think i had to put the dos folder into the usb for a spoof on this drive wich is a sammy spoofed into a hit im just not sure if its still needed (the dos folder came from ixtreme folder of 1.5) but it dont matter il follow the vid and see what happens i have backups of all fw so i cant kill em

Lol, gotcha now. Nope the older ones used to contain dosflash and the l-o-eras.exe in the dos folders. Yeah just follow the video and you'll be up and running in no time.

the sammy went like a dream but for the liteon if its already flashed do i still need to use the probe ?? just need it clarifying


iv followed the vid tut for 1.5 to 1.51 for lite on using jf beta i have clicked dummy from ixtreme and saved my 3 files and dummy to a folder then after being asked if i want to autoload (y) another box tells me it couldnt find any firmware ?usb made with 1.6 on it. i hope im told to do this in dos now please give me a pointer fellas if i have my 3 files and dummy this can be done with iprep now ..............or do i need to use the probe ?? as in the new vid

Well in order for JF to auto-load the iXtreme 1.6 you must have it saved in the firmware folder that JF refers to which is usually part of the rar file when you download it. It should auto-load an auto-spoof the key to from the dump'd fw to the fw you want to flash in. If it doesn't or if the key looks bad, try dumping the firmware again.
