"internet,spyware,firewall,"
IMO AVG 8.5 is the best. The full version has a firewall and internet security built in, if you get the free version, you would need a firewall.
Any firewall will work, they all function the same, they notify you when any attempt to access the internet or your local comp is made by an application.

Re: what is the best computer program
you know what really pisses me off?
so i go to bestbuy to get more goodies to supe up my computer.
so keep in mind that my mother board is a nvidia EVGA nForce 790i Ultra SLI Motherboard
so i go to buy a grafix card. and to find out it dont fit because if i do put it in. the darn grafix card is so freakin big that it blocks my sata ports and i cant plug in my hard drives.
so needless to say its going back to worstbuy
