Hi, I just created a hacked firmware manually with the tut but I am unclear where to place it in my boot floppy disk. Can anyone explain?
Am I supposed to place this new manually hacked firmware into the the second of the two folders I create and name after my serial number on the boot disk under "backup?" Then boot and read, erase, flash?

Re: manually created hacked firmware
well the way i do it is flash it in like the restore.
you would put it in the 2nd folder. the firmware you made needs to be named
" benq-ofw or sam-ofw "
the just run the restore and it will flash in the firmware you made.

Thanks cofree! I got it to work on my Benq that was giving me a hard time. Your site is awesome...probably the best site I have seen for Xbox guides and discussion.
