HTC Touch Pro

Post by HaGGardSmurf »

First, I wasnt exactly sure where to post this, so I just posted it here.

Anyways, I went out and bought this phone:
http://www.htc.com/www/product/touchpro/gallery.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I paid 650 for it, becuase I wasnt signing a new contract.

I absolutely love it. Best phone I have owned to far. I am a major fan of HTC, every phone they make I fall in love with.

The only downside I have found is the size. The phone is pretty thick, but thats mainly because of the keyboard. The keyboard is a large reason I bought the phone, I dont like virtual keyboards. Also, IMO this is one of the best keyboards on a phone today.

Another possible downside is the lag. HTC always uses windows mobile on their phones, but on the touch pro, they put their own skin over it, and when you launch an application there is always an X in the very top right of your phone, near your service bar's, and if you click it the application will close. So Lag is not an issue if you close your applications... On other smart phones ive used you have to go into task manager, and its a pain to close things...

Also, there are loads of hacks and tweaks out there, so if you want you can use a different ROM.

All and all, best phone I have ever had. ;)

I would recommend this phone, if your looking for a new one. The best part of it, is you can do about anything with it. There is also lots of 'hacks' and tweaks for it, so just about anything can be done.

The navigation, and interface of the phone is sooo cool.

Yea im the same i LOVE HTC products, its good to see that they are finally coming out more with their own brand instead of just manufacturing for other companies all the time. I want to the the Touch Diamond or the Touch cruise.

I've had a HTC Touch for over a year now and absolutely love it. The next phone I want is the HTC Touch HD. It's a 3.7 inch touchscreen with full 1080 support, they also have a Touch 4G which is freakin amazing!!!

I saw the touch HD on their site, looks amazing.

I discovered HTC like 3 years ago, and they have amazed me ever since. All their phones looks SOOO good, and not many people have them, which makes me love them.

The one downside I find with them is they all run windows mobile... I guess the counter to that is the fact that there are loads of forums dedicated to hacking HTC phones...
