stuck in mode b
stuck in mode b spoofed a hitachi as a ben it works plays back ups, prob is i have to keep lid off to open the drive will not eject try. connect it up in j/f and when i go into the hit tab it says already in mode b any help thanks

The only way that I know to fix this is to re-store the drive and flash again. The restore should set the drive back to it's default mode. I think I remember something about using the 79 Unlock cd on the 79's but I don't think it would work on any other version.

Sounds like its game over. In mode b, you are very much able to open the drive. You have to press eject twice though.jimbojimjay wrote:the drive will not eject
Like technoe said try a restore, but if your drive wont open, sounds like you have a FW issue. Are you 100% sure you spoofed right?
