i have read and watched the tuts but i cant seem to get it in modeb any up to date tuts or a little help gettin there used slax but it always goes to root slax command prompt no spin up doin something wrong just dont know what

the best thing to do is use
jungle flasher on a v79

there are so few and they are such a pain in the back side

im sorry but we dont have a up to date video on flashing a v79

jf freezes what would i have to do. get it to modeb cause thats my prob i have spare drives if there is a way to get key but that all hinges on modeb correct is there an older version of slax i should use i have 2.1 but dont know if its 2.1.2 or 2.1.3 or something like that

did the jf workaround and it reads all drives but the hitachi i only have the 79 rite now if i figure it out ill let u's know if u want any info

best thing to do is use jf....if you have a onboard sata use it...use the 79 unlock cd...and get the firmware...and you should be good...i hook up both usb and com1.....theres videos online everywhere for hit 79"s..good luck...

ok finally got it booted comp with xbox on no sata to pc opened jf pluged sata in to my pc used i/o tab in jf selected my sata port and there it was could not get it reconized in windows or jf 1.6 maybe thats why but it did show up under drive info in jf so after tryin to get windows to see it over and over again i just decided to dump it it worked pasted all hit fw to jf fw folder and flashed in jf all is good for now thanks for tryin to help guys and cofree it is absolutely a major pain in the backside could not use conn kit either for me had to use the xbox
