Ill get straight to the point i guess, my friend gave me his xbox so i can mod it for him.
I have a little experience with benq drives so i thought itd be easy
it turned out that he had a hitachi 49 drive. I read alot of tutorials and everything and i thought everything was going fine.
As i went on with the flashing i can't really remember what error i got ( no log either ) but something went wrong and i thing i flashed checksum over or something i cant really remember since it was yesterday.
Well today i thought id have another go at it.
This is where im stuck
I can get it in Mode B and shown in JF just fine. ( drive is deff not dead. )
I have a good copy of the OFW, and the Key.
From what i can figure out is that when i put the checksum to the 000000 one
i can dump the drive, flash keys, and everything but restoring the official fw.
When i try to flash ixtreme it says i have to restore (which i cant do)
I have no idea what to do, im lost.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Re: Desperate Help :/ Hitachi 49|JungleFlasher
just dump the drive and find the original 49 firmware and click restore drive and flash. then start the flashing process over dump drive then click flash ixtreme and your done
Re: Desperate Help :/ Hitachi 49|JungleFlasher
i just did a post about this in another thread here but you simply apply the same methods to the ben q drive as what you'll essentially be doing is spoofing the drive (that's if you have a ben q drive & want to update from the hitachi drive as that's what i'd recommend you do)

frist of all, what firmware did you flash onto the drive?
second, you said you have the ofw, so try to put that in j/f as the the target f/w and flash it like that and let us know how it went...
