Hi folks,
I have an Hitachi 47 which was already flashed, and the guy has not got the original firmware. Is there any way of upgrading it to 1.51, without having the original firmware. Jungle Flasher has "stock firmwares".......can these be used to restore the drive. Still a noob at this lark!

Im no expert on hits but
yeah you should be fine, but make sure you have the key to the drive before you do anything. just dump the drive so you have they key then you can proceed with the restore

Hitachi's need to be restored before they are updated.

Thanks for the replies folks,....wont get to do it until tomorrow though, so will be back in touch then. Can I tell the guy its do-able though, if I get the key,and other bits ?
