Hello everyone,
I just wanted to say a big hello to everyone and hopefully tap into this vast pool of knowledge for what I hope has a simple answer thats driving me mad!
My 360 has a lite-on drive with Extreme 1.5 firmware on it (I did this in i-prep just after chrismas) The thing is I WANT to use i-prep again to update it with the new firmware but I cannot find any tutorial explaining the process clearly.
I have all my original files from when I did it last but just need to know how I do this.
I did look in the tutorial section but could not find anything to help me, so ANY help would be great otherwise I am stuck.
Thanks all,
Phil aka Gallows

Hey. Welcome to the forest man.
I cant really help you with the Iprep stuff because I use Jungle Flasher instead.
But it should be the same process,
Read the firmware, erase firmware and then write the new one.
I am sure that one of the Iprep experts will help you,

Re: A BIG HELLO TO EVERYONE
Hi,
I would have loved to simply use JF but my problem with that is that every time I power up the drive in windows, 30 seconds later windows just locks up on me.
I have NO VIA DRIVERS INSTALLED at all and I have installed PORTIO32 AND NET.frame 3.5. AND the USB driver.
Every thing works ok if I turn the drive on first BEFORE I boot into windows but as soon as I do the power cycle it hangs and I havent even used the erase command yet?
This is why I will be using IPREP v9, the only draw back is it looks like I will have to extract the key again in order to do it in IPREP. As its only a simple upgrade it would have been perfect on this occation to just use JF but I just carnt suz the freezing issue.
Bugger me!

Ello, nah you don't have to redump it as jungleflasher can make the cfw for you from your old dumped one. Load your older one into the source bar in jungleflasher , follow the commands and save the file it creates then rename it to litcfw.bin and put it into the backup/1234567/12345 folder (you'll need to create these 2 folders inside the backup one) and go straight to the flit command in iprep. You'll get an answer quicker if you post in the correct section.

Nah it's no biggie but you'll get a faster response if you make a thread in one of these sections mate: http://www.robinhoodsplayground.com/for ... um.php?f=4" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; welcome along
