fax software

guys im looking for a fax software

what i want to be able to do is scan in a page
and be able to fax that scanned in page to a fax machine

i dont want to pay a service to do this
and dont need a number to receive a fax
just send a fax thats it

There is this software that comes with Lexmark printers that uses a dial up modem to send faxes, I am drawing a blank on the name, I think it is BVRP......?

hi,i use a small proggy called mighty fax,easy to set up,recognises most modems etc,can send or receive,after install appears in the "printer" drop down box so you can "send to" from out of most picture/text programs,shows how your fax will look before sending etc.

just been to the old mightyfax website turns out its no longer sold,they do however recommend this one http://www.essentialfax.com/fax-software/overview.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
