Do i need to connect the USB or Serial cable in Iprep?

Hi guys , do i need to connect the USB cable or the serial cable from the CK3 to the PC in Iprep when flashing lite-on 83850 ? plz i havnt seen any videos that shows how to connect the ck3 with lite-on before flashing it with Iprep , thnx in advance.

with iprep you don't use usb or serial. just the sata cable. iprep 10.7 walks you through what you need to do. . . that drive is ridiculously simple to flash.
