Hello, I recently the purchased the xecuter ck3 pro and probe and thought I was ready to start flashing until my friend said something about needing a chipset...so of course i said i dont know what he's talking about so i did a little research and seen that cofree had suggested this one
http://tekgems.com/Products/la-pci22-vt6421a.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
but i noticed that was a post from 2007 so im wondering if things have changed with time and if that is the best one to get (if its even needed) ...can you please give me some suggestions.
Last thing is, I also bought the Xecuter CK3 XT Adapter but i have no idea what its used for..lol...I just bought it cause i didnt wanna have to buy it later and pay for shipping so I just purchased it and now I just want to know what its used for or if i basically just wasted my money on it...lol
Thanks for any help.

Just trying to bring this back to the light for some help. I wanted to order one of these asap so I can work on my 360 this weekend. Sorry for the impatience

Re: Via Sata Chipset?
Ive flashed a HIT on a via with the drivers enabled, it was successful somehow...
I flash all drives on my via, with the drivers disabled, works like a charm.

Yep, that's the right card. VT6421A is what you need, and thats what that card is.
