i got banned :(

today i just banned from live using ixtreme 1.61. Is ixtreme 1.61 supposed to be flashed into your 360 because i heard your not supposed to and wait for the official release date. so what do u guys think i got banned cause of the firmware or people reported me for modding.

Its highly unlikely its the FW. You should wait before you flash any new FW, but people are being banned on 1.6 as well I haven't heard of anyone being banned on 1.51 or older...

i know its kinda lame but dont worry i had a backup plan just in case this would ever happen to me but i still have one more question. someone told me when ixtreme 1.61 came out there was two types of firmwares. the unofficial one and the official made from team hyper X. is that true? if so then i think i accidently downloaded the unofficial FW from one of the links here on this site. sorry just when i heard the news about wave 4 games i checking for the new firmware to come out. shouldnt just waited until it was on xbins.

ever since i have updated some 3 people xbox 360s it two of us get banned. im starting to feeling not to update your xbox to ixtreme 1.61 since a lot of people getting banned. so far i have other 360s and most of them running on ixtreme 1.6 and two on ixtreme 1.51. i think people should play on ixtreme 1.6 and not use the activate iso online to play wave 4 games
