Still not banned but all my pirate friend's on my friend's list got the ban hammer. Maybe it's just a matter of time. I am keeping my retail of DJ Hero in my box, maybe that will save my ass until something is figured out. I also have retail Modern Warfare 2 coming soon...maybe Microsoft has some sympathy for me. :D

Donkey Kong ain't never seen anything like what's about to happen. They can't possibly think that banning consoles is any way to stop piracy.

I totally agree. They only thing it may harm is xbox live purchased content in my opinion. People are still going to download games and the people that I know could care less about a xbox live subscription and more about the $64.94 they are saving per game. $64.94 per 30 or so games per year= a whole lot of money saved. Microsoft have only themselves to blame with their flashable drives. I don't see the PS3 having these problems.

all i can say is go buy a PS3 and buy the games you want for that and download or rent and back them up for xbox 360 is the only way to get back at MS make them lose money lots of it

Thanks! Great to have all this stuff in one place.

Think my plan of action ow is to get myself two new 360's, one untouched for playing LIVE, i only play a few certain games online, and another that i will flash but never go online with so i can still use the HDD to install games.

Question, i know swapping profiles from a banned console will corrupt the data, but i presume if i do that with a flashed 360 that hasn't been hit with a ban this would be okay to do?

I'd love to know what it is MS do to the console that makes the HDD useless?

Recovering a gamer tag from a banned 360 onto a fresh, not modded one is safe. So is using your old HDD.
