Question about Playing my Backups.

Post by Klain »

I have a live xbox, and i just bought a banned 360 (wave 4 ban) from my friend for my nephew and was wondering if i could still play all backups (single-player/campaign/multiplayer) on that one. If i obtain a backup of one of the newer games i buy (wave 4) will i be able to play em without any sort of boot disk for ixtreme 1.6? or do i need to use the boot disk EACH and every time?

Thank you in advance for any responses, any info would be appreciated. (new to this whole flashed firmware thing.)

If your on 1.61 no need for boot disk, if your on 1.6 then yes you need a boot disk each and every time, you can just update it to 1.61 or since its already banned, flash an old ixtreme FW to the drive, one that doesnt care what wave.

Well what drive do you have?

If you have a htiachi, use 1.51 that will boot any game. I am not quite sure about the older ixtreme's I have only used 1.4-1.6.

Just bump this topic, or even ask the seller what drive it is, he should know he flashed it :P
