Backup Games and 0800 FW

Post by bittersuit_98 »

I'm having problems with the kreon method so I decided to try the 0800 to experiment. A couple of Benq's with 1.6 and 1.61 are available for the rip. So here's my questions guys:
1. DO the iXtreme 1.6 and .161 fw have the 0800 fw integrated?

2. In using xbc to make with the flashed Benq to make the rip, are the steps to make the ISO off the original game the same as it is with the old kreon drives?

thanx

imo
i would just flash in the 0800 firmware for the benq
not use the 1.6 with it built in

and
in xbc you just select your benq in the drop down
and dump it just like normal

I gotta a problem. XBC detects the VAD6038 in the menu which I selected, but when I put the disk in and start XBC the tabs for the "start" and "cancel" are not active. I tried different dvd's just to make sure it was not a bad disk but still nothing. For this reason I cannot start the rip. Are there any settings i need to tweak? This is weird coz tutorials do not mention any settings. xbc supposed to b straighforward. thanx
