please put disc in xbox 360 console, error????

Ok so ive tried just about every way i can to burn a backup. i use the hot swap method i change the layout, i insert the pfi, dmi and steath using merger, i check it using both xbc and mulletmetr and it checks out. i then burn the dvd file not the iso file using imgburn and everything goes fine. i put the disc in my 360 and it says please put disc in xbox 360 console and it gives me the dvd controls down at the bottom. any idea were im going wrong, did my firmware flash not work properly or is it in the buirning stage that mistakes are being made. thanks for the help. ive wasted 10 dl discs before i posted any questions. oh and i am puting the image break in manualy, im burning using a pioneer 212d. thanks again

What brand of disks are you using? What layer break are you putting in? You really shouldn't have to put the layer break in if your pointing imgburn to the .dvd file. What speeds are you burning at? I would also suggest investing in an SH-D162C drive, makes ripping a whole lot easier, but yeah, I realize it costs money, but they do work better that the hotswap way.

have you tried to let mulleter fix the iso dump.
you may want to flash the non-stealth firmware.to see if that will play.dont go live with that.
you may think of getting sh-d162c dvd drive to do your dumps

i using dvd+rw dl 8.5 gig, i cant think of the brand name. my layer break is at 191370, and im burning at x2.4. when i use the mulletmeter after loading the iso file it says something like your video is broken do you want to fix, from what ive read im supposed to say no and then go to crc check and auto fix that way. is that inserting another layer break that im not seeing and by me manually puttinh one in it some how corrupts the whole thing. thanks for all the help. ill look in to that better drive.

Well, if your doing the hotswap method, it probably will complain about the video partition. When you run the autofix, and it does its thing, it passes the stealth check then or does it still complain about the video partition?

in mulletmeter it passes the steath check and i then check it with xbc where it also passes the stealth check. then i burn and everything runs smooth except for when it comes time to play. yea i meant to write 1913760 for the layer break. when it prompts me that my video is broken do you want to fix, am i correct when i say no and then go the the crc check and auto fix that way. heres my process
hotswap using ripper, change layout, dumps to iso file
insert stealt, dmi, pfi, using merger ( i get the pmi, dmi, stealth from the site you recommened in your tutorial)
open mullet were it says video is broken do want to fix, i say no,
in the compalibilty box pmi dmi and steath are check but not ixtreme compatable and one or two other boxes i cant think of right now. i then go to crc check and auto fix there, were upon all boxes become checked in the compatabilty check.
i open xbc and stealth check there and it passes i then reopen mulletmeter and check it again it dose not say video is broken and everything passes
i then burn using imgburn were i manually put in the layer break, 9193760 i select the .dvd file that merger made and it burns all the way through and then i get the error in the 360.

i dont ever input any stealth file after a hopt swap.
i let mullter do it all.

the way i do it will only work if the stealth file are in the data base.

what speed are you doni the burn
burn no faster than 2.4x speed.

ok, i read the tutorial and ill do it using just the mulleter, my only question is. merger gave me the dvd file and thats what i would burn. when i use only mulleter it just stays as an iso file is that ok to burn with imgburn, will the 360 read that or does it need to be the dvd file to read.

when you put the dvd file in to burn thats sets the layer break for you.so that means you dont have to do it.
when you have just the iso you have to set the layer break your self.

mulleter can also create the dvd file for you // it's in the dialog : other > make .dvd file

& of course you can make one yourself with notepad.exe
just create a text document with :

LayerBreak=1913760
name-of-image.iso

save it & change the extension from .txt to .dvd
obviously the "name-of-image" needs to be the name of the iso file.
